Has vision become essential in industrial processes?
Sébastien Le Jariel: It is a technology that is increasingly present in our automated systems, and a function that seems essential to me in industrial processes. With AI-assisted vision solutions, machines not only have eyes, but also a brain. Vision as offered by Psycle allows us to take on complex automation projects that will create value for our customers. Typical applications are conformity inspection, sorting, packaging error-proofing and bin picking.

SLJ: I see vision as a profession in its own right, and one that evolves very quickly. Himber Technologies' job is to design all the mechanical parts that bring products under the camera, and to provide the right inspection environment. For the analysis, we need a trusted partner who is at the cutting edge of this technology and able to be in the field with us. That is what we found in Psycle.
How does the collaboration between your teams work?
SLJ: Very well, and we are quite proud of it. Baptiste and I have managed to create a great synergy between our two teams. Communication is very smooth, which gives us excellent mutual visibility on a project's progress and any sticking points. Once the project has been scoped, we entrust its implementation to our engineers with complete confidence, and it always goes well.
