Before putting software in the hands of a quality manager, you might as well check that it holds up with users who don't code.
Tuesday, August 25: internal hackathon in Compiègne. The whole Psycle team tested the new version of PAP (Psycle Assistant Production), in its final qualification phase. Developers and non-developers alike.
The principle: everyone gets to grips with the new features, without instructions, and reports everything that gets in the way. An unclear label, a screen that takes three clicks too many.
Why is it useful? Because this software is intended for production teams, not for those who designed it. If someone from the sales team can find their way around it without training, a line operator will too.
The result: concrete feedback, several areas for improvement (functional and UX), and a version that enters qualification in better shape.
