At some industrial trade shows, discussions no longer focus solely on the popular topics of the past ten years. Neither machines nor production rates seem able to keep their monopoly. Because today, manufacturers are also talking about artificial intelligence, image processing, automated quality control and even growth management.
When growth transforms
Strong growth is often accompanied by a rapid and natural transformation of the company's organization, which until then had been solid. Harmony can be affected, and as the business evolves, it becomes essential to structure communication and working methods.
As for Psycle, the company specializing in machine vision has seen a sharp acceleration in its business over the past several months. On its own, the food industry now accounts for more than 50% of the company's revenue. And certain regions, such as western France and in particular Brittany, now account for a significant share of new needs.
It is precisely in this context that Rémi Magro joined as sales manager at Psycle in November 2025.
Pressing needs for restructuring
A graduate of Sup Optique in 2017, Rémi began his career at Effilux, a specialist in high-performance optical lighting systems. Joining as a final-year intern, he gradually rose to become sales manager for France… then Europe… then worldwide.
Over nearly eight years, he saw the company grow from about ten to nearly 80 employees. A rapid evolution that allowed him to observe a common phenomenon in industry:
“Expanding teams is one of the first consequences of increased activity. But when it happens quickly, you have to know how to react in order to keep a common direction. Organization becomes more and more strategic. And that's where it gets interesting.”
At Psycle, this reflection now plays an essential role. The company must continue to protect its capacity to take on new projects without losing technical agility. Because, as you know, in machine vision every project has its own constraints. And within each system in place, several professions must work together.
Rémi works precisely on this coordination phase. Recruitment, onboarding, support for sales teams, deal follow-up, structuring of working methods:
“Putting processes in place does not mean making the company rigid. Above all, it allows teams to understand each other faster and work in harmony. In a demanding environment like ours, this becomes indispensable.”

An essential presence in the field
At the same time, Psycle's growth is taking shape geographically. Historically well established in the food industry, the company is now strengthening its presence in western France.
And this choice is no coincidence.
Brittany alone represents one of the largest concentrations of food companies in France. According to ANIA (the French national food industry association), the food sector remains the country's “industrial leader” with more than 500,000 direct jobs. Behind these figures are production lines that sometimes run continuously, 24/7, with ever stricter quality and traceability requirements.
The recent CFIA show in Rennes confirmed this momentum.
“It's true that we have a huge number of requests in the West today. It is a particularly dynamic region for the food industry, and it has become essential for us to strengthen our physical presence there. It's the least we can do to provide solid support to our customers and future customers in the industry.”
Psycle has therefore just approved a new job description for an account manager dedicated to western France. A profile based directly in the region, fully remote, in order to maintain strong proximity with local manufacturers.
Because despite the evolution of digital tools, some industrial realities remain difficult to understand remotely. Observing a production line, analyzing a mechanical constraint or even talking directly with an operator often makes it possible to detect issues that are invisible in a simple set of specifications.
Industrial uses transformed by AI
For several years, artificial intelligence has been gradually transforming the machine vision sector. Tasks that were once difficult to automate are now becoming accessible thanks to advanced image processing.
“Psycle has been working on these topics for almost ten years, and the company is a pioneer on many of them. Today, we can clearly see that AI is unlocking new industrial possibilities. And in our field, things are moving fast. That's why we have to keep watching and constantly adapt.”
Psycle is also continuing to step up its presence in familiar sectors, such as logistics or certain critical environments, particularly in the nuclear field.
And Rémi is already sharing other prospects for the future with us. Why not expansion into eastern France, future VIE contracts and even stronger international sales? For him, this growth is probably only just beginning. Enough to make you want to follow Psycle a little more closely.

Collective thinking at the heart of the discussion
Despite this acceleration, Rémi regularly insists on one point: no structure works without human cohesion.
“What the teams have to say remains very important. The best ideas often come from the field.”
A participatory approach that he applies both in management and in supporting new employees. Since his arrival, he explains, he began by gradually meeting all the teams in order to understand everyone's methods, tools and working habits.
And between two industrial projects, Rémi tells us he is a HUGE (his word) tennis fan. Ranked 15/4 (for the purists), he still plays tournaments with his club when he finds a bit of free time. In fact, if you read this article before June 7, there's a good chance he'll be settled in front of a Roland-Garros match.
